A friend of mine sent me these nice Christmas colouring pages. They are so cute that I decided to share them with you. You all know how kids love to colour Santa Claus...

Thank you Anabela!

The magic of Christmas is back and I've found a great site that can help us same time preparing our activities. It has lots of different worksheets including Christmas flashcards, games and vocabulary. www.english-4kids.com is really worth seeing!

Happy Halloween!!!

Here comes Halloween!
Halloween should be as scary as possible. We always choose witches and spiders to decorate our classrooms, so this time we decided to make different crafts with kids. As usual I made a search on Google and I found these great scary mummies. They are really easy to do: we just need black balloons, some tissue to roll around the balloons and two little eyes!
And they sure are scary...! Hope you like it!

I've made a search on the web and I found some great ideas for Easter crafts.

This Easter bunny is really easy to do and can be use to decorate our classrooms!

Good Eggs! These are really funny and cute
eggs...

And what about this funny frame? Easy to do and kids will have a lot of fun and you turn them into bunnies!

Happy Easter Everyone!

We didn't forget the Carnival activities. I've just got the photos now, that's why I hadn't posted anything yet.
Here I am, dressed as a bee, waiting for a lovely flower! All the teachers were dressed as insects: fly, butterfly, ants... just to make students laugh at us for one day!

And these were our Carnival crafts

I'm still waiting for some photos of the other crafts we did, so please be patient.
We made a mask contest that was really fun and a little ballerina won for two points! The second place was for Bob The Builder! But I won't post any photo of the kids to keep them safe...
Hope you like it!

This is a great magazine created by Porto Editora! Its contents are always related to the Festivities, the themes thaught in Portuguese schools and it also has a variety of ideas and printable materials that we can use on our every day classes. And, something also important, it isn't too expensive. Take a look and you won't regret it!

Once again I have followed the fabulous advices from Thunder and created some magnets with hearts. My students loved it and so did their parents! I have just changed the materials and used card board in order to reuse unwanted materials. There were hearts in different colours and magnets in two different styles, but we didn't exactly follow the original idea...
I have just said: "Use your imagination, kids!"

This was the Valentine's card that my students received on their love mail. Now I'm using it to wish you a great Valentine's Day!

Here is a great site with free clipart to use on your worksheets, activities... whatever! It has good pictures and it is divided by themes. It has great pics for Valentine's day too.

Hope you like it!

Valentine's day is coming so we better get things ready! I 've made a search on google and I've found these two great sites, which give ideas for lovely and sweet crafts. I personally love crafts that include candies and other sweet things because love is really ....sweet!

MUMMY! CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!!!

Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer
had a very shiny nose.
And if you ever saw him,
you would even say it glows.

All of the other reindeer
used to laugh and call him names.
They never let poor Rudolph
join in any reindeer games.

Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say:
"Rudolph with your nose so bright,
won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"

Then all the reindeer loved him
as they shouted out with glee,
Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer,
you'll go down in history!

Scary...
